ABOUT DAISY
MY STORY.
DAISYV Jewellery was born from a mountain adventure. Living in the Canadian Rockies and inspired by the beautiful landscape around me, I started designing small pieces of jewellery in my spare time. Upon my return to England, I took a one day silversmithing course and fell in love with the freedom, creativity and craft of metalsmithing. What followed was a couple of years of experimentation and honing my skills, before I launched my website and first professional collection in 2016.
In June 2022, I took the plunge and opened the DAISYV studio + shop in my hometown just outside of the Cotswolds: Royal Wootton Bassett. It’s here that I create my jewellery and it’s quickly become my happy place, as well as a calming and safe space for those who stop by.
THE BRAND.
The DAISYV brand values uniqueness, craftmanship, sustainability and slow, conscious living. My jewellery offers memories of wild wanderings and adventures yet to come, and the lifestyle products carried in the shop have been thoughtfully curated with the belief in a lifestyle that is kind to our planet, that encourages adventure, whilst also recognising the joy in the simple moments.
Organic textures and colours of the wild can be found throughout my jewellery designs, with the mountains and ocean fueling my imagination. Each piece of jewellery in the collection is handmade using recycled sterling silver and designed to be long lasting, to be passed down through generations, collecting stories and memories of the places that you visit and the people that you meet along the way. A talisman of your journey to keep forever.
ETHICS.
It’s my mission to create beautiful jewellery without the heavy negative impact upon our Planet. Each piece of jewellery is handmade by me, using both traditional and modern silversmithing techniques (melting and forging silver, along with casting for certain designs) and avoiding harmful chemicals. It’s also important that I recycle and reuse materials as much as I can. As such, all of the pieces in my collection, including my chains, are made from 100% recycled sterling silver. It’s quality is exactly the same as sterling silver and can be hallmarked as such, but doesn’t have the same environmental and social impact as mined silver, which makes it a million times more awesome! I also recycle all of my silver offcuts by using them in new designs. In addition to this, every part of my packaging is made from recycled and biodegradable materials and there is also a minimal packaging option if preferred. Your package will not contain any plastic.
